<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="direction:rtl"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang="FA" style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span arial="" style="font-family:">چوگان که امروزه یک بازی جهانی است، قدیمی­ترین بازی گروهی در ایران بوده و چنان در فرهنگ ایرانیان جای داشته که آثار ادبی و هنری زیادی درباره چوگان خلق شده است. شاهنامه فردوسی یکی از معتبرترین آثار ادبی است که نسبت به سایر آثار ادبی، بیش­ترین توجه را به این بازی ایرانی داشته و خصوصا در «داستان سیاوش» وصف­های موثر و متقنی از این بازی روایت کرده است. طبیعی است که نگارگران دوره­های مختلف در نگارگری شاهنامه فردوسی به این داستان توجه نشان داده و بخش­هایی از آن، از جمله «هنرکردن سیاوش در حضور افراسیاب» را در آثار خود ساخته­اند. هدف از انجام این مقاله، مطالعه تطبیقی این داستان و بازنمایی آن در نگاره­هایی با همین موضوع بود. هم­چنین تفاوت­ها و تشابه­های فرمی نگاره­ها نیز مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. این تحقیق که از منظر هدف، کاربردی بود، به شیوه انجام توصیفی-تحلیلی با رویکرد تطبیقی انجام شد و اطلاعات نیز به شیوه کتابخانه­ای بهدست آمد. بررسی­ها نشان می­دهد علیرغم مطابقت کلی داستان در نگاره­ها در برخی اجزای داستان در نگاره­ها منطبق بر داستان نیست؛ مثلا به لحاظ بازنمایی تعداد چوگان­بازان در زمین، حضور نوازنده­ها در کنار صحنه، بازنمایی طبیعت همچون درخت و آسمان روشن که حکایت از زمان بازی در شروع روز دارد. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></div>
<div><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:12.0pt">Polo, nowadays a global game, is the oldest group game in Iran and has been so embedded in Iranian culture that many literary and artistic works have been created about it. Ferdowsi’s “Shahnameh” (literally, the book of kings) is one of the most prestigious literary works which focuses a lot of attention to this Iranian game, especially in the “Siavash Story”, which has an effective and compelling character. It is natural that the painters of different eras in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh paintings pay attention to this story and include portions of it, including “Siavash’s polo playing in the presence of Afrasiab”. This comparative study, which aims to examine this tale and its representations in paintings. This applied research was conducted in a descriptive-analytical manner with a comparative approach, and the information was obtained through a library method. Studies show that, despite the overall representation of the story in the paintings, some parts of the story in the paintings do not match the story; for example, in terms of representing the number of pitchers on the field, the presence of players next to the stage, like the tree and the clear sky that tell the time of the play at the start of the day</span><span dir="RTL" lang="FA" style="font-size:12.0pt">.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:12.0pt"></span></span></div>
